Hyper Haiku

New York In Spring

An animation I made in the spring of 2011. I was given the task of making an animation of any length about any subject with the only requirement of five different shots. I felt like it would be easier to work with inanimate objects rather than working with people and forcing them to stay still and move in small increments. Turns out working with small objects is just as hard. Especially all the crumbs that came from the cookies and the brown sugar “sand”. I have to say that I never felt more ridiculous in my life than when I was gluing candy and cookies to pieces of paper or when I was drawing on an animal cracker, that was pretty weird.

Hope you enjoy!
